Call for Papers
The Bronisław Geremek Institute for European Cultural History (IHCE) is renewing the call for papers for the annual conference of the International Society for Cultural History (ISCH), which will be held at the Lunéville castle, from the 2 nd to the 5 th July, 2012.
Participants are invited to reflect upon the following theme: “ work and cultural history ”. It will be possible to do the presentations either in English or in French, thanks to the setting up of a system of immediate translation.
Several guests of honour will give plenary sessions: Prof. Petr Horak (University of Brno, Czech Republic), Dr. Maureen Shanahan (James Madison University, United States), Dr. Jann Matlock (University College, United Kingdom), Prof. Daniel Roche (Collège de France), Prof. François Roth (University of Lorraine, France), Dr. Samita Sen (University of Calcutta, India).
The persons interested in the conference can either submit an “isolated” paper, or a panel including from three to four papers.
